Booking Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions govern all bookings made with Shoebill Uganda Bird Tours. By confirming a booking you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before making your reservation.
Deposits and Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the tour start date. For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking. We accept bank transfer, PayPal and mobile money (MTN/Airtel Uganda).
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 60 days before departure: loss of deposit only. Cancellations 30 to 60 days before departure: 50% of total tour cost. Cancellations within 30 days of departure: 100% of total tour cost. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical evacuation and trip interruption.
Changes and Amendments
We reserve the right to alter itineraries due to weather, road conditions, park closures or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases we will provide an alternative of equal or greater value. If you wish to amend your booking, please contact us as early as possible. Changes may incur additional costs depending on the nature of the amendment.
Liability
Shoebill Uganda Bird Tours acts as an agent for accommodation providers and transport operators. We accept no liability for injury, loss, damage or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. All clients participate in birding safaris at their own risk and are required to follow guide instructions at all times.
